Mike is part of the Eyewitness Blues Band guitar crew.  His musical career began at age 7 when his mother made him take piano lessons from Aunt Seale. He hated the lessons. Faked being sick to avoid going.

The next stop on his musical journey was in 6th grade when he rose to the rank of second cello in the Emerson Jr. High Junior Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Umber. He also filled in on glockenspiel when needed.

Later, he had his glasses broken by Mick Jagger.

He has seen many rock shows over the years, remembering only a few. Once, he believes, he lit a match during the playing of "Free Bird" at a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert.

Eventually he took a handful of guitar lessons in the fall of 2003 and the rest, as they say, is musical history.
